Yes, they receive a certificate upon completion. Because of the nature of our programs, the certificate MUST be used at their first interviews for jobs, internships, practicums, and College and university applications. This is something no other ESL offers.

15-18 years old. We will happily welcome those extra-talented students aged 13 and 14.

We accept students from A2+ (European Framework). But a B1+ is ideal.

At the residences of the University of British Columbia, Vancouver campus. We have single rooms with semi-private bathrooms. Rooms and washrooms are not co-ed.

Yes. Most of our staff and coordinators live on-site during the program, and up to 10 minutes away by car.

A hackathon is a design sprint event in which a large number of people meet to engage in collaborative computer programming (or not) over a relatively short period of time, such as 24-48 hours. The main goal is to build new web and mobile services but also people get together to solve a problem in a community, in a country, etc.

Idea: The purpose of the main idea is communicated clearly. Solution: Does the solution presented solve the main challenge? Other: Overall prep and delivery. Time used effectively. Keywords. Prototype Design. Questions answered. Team Introduction. Ask: TEAM must present a clear ASK.

We are working hard to keep the summit exclusive and global. However, many factors can affect other participants' attendance (e.g., visas, economic reasons, etc.). Fair competition is healthy, but collaborations take people and companies to the next level. Relationships are the new true currency, and even though a multi-country event might not be possible at the moment, participants will definitely make connections for life.

Students leave with a new set of skills. From the 10 main soft skills: communication, adaptability, responsibility and leadership, teamwork, positive attitude, critical thinking, professionalism, interpersonal skills, creativity, cultural awareness to a broad knowledge of digital skills and industry jargon to a working digital portfolio and a more educated idea of which career and path to pursue.

Not for now. It was confusing for agents and school directors. For 2027, based on students' applications, we will have a good idea of which students have a more creative profile, and we will work with them during the Innovation Summit. We will offer certain elective workshops where creative students can learn and practice their skills.
